Lucknow Super Giants have also saved a purse of Rs 4.55 crore after completing 25 players this season. With this the team looks very strong.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), captained by Rishabh Pant, has added 3 big players to its team at very low prices in this mini auction, due to which the team has become much stronger.

Lucknow Super Giants bought these players in IPL 2026 mini auction

In the mini auction of IPL 2026, Lucknow Super Giants bought Sri Lanka’s mystery spinner Wanindu Hasaranga and South Africa’s star fast bowler Anrich Nortje at the base price. LSG included these two players in their team for just Rs 2 crore each. Apart from this, the franchise included Australian wicketkeeper batsman Josh Inglis in its team for Rs 8.60 crore.

Although the decision to buy Josh Inglis was a bit surprising, because the team already has Rishabh Pant, whereas Josh Inglis will be a part of the IPL only in the first 5-6 matches, after which he will return home. Apart from this, LSG has also made young Indian players Mukul Chaudhary and Akshat Raghuvanshi a part of its team. Both these players had attracted everyone’s attention by performing brilliantly in domestic cricket, while finally the franchise has also included left arm fast bowler Naman Tiwari with them for IPL 2026.
