According to Chopra, this rule will also give captains more options in making strategies. The course of the match can be changed by giving extra overs to bowlers who are making an impact in the match. The second suggestion is regarding the points system. Chopra believes that if a team wins the match by a big margin, it should get extra points. For example, if a team achieves the target in 15-16 overs or wins the match by more than 40 runs, then it should be given three points instead of the usual two points. Chopra’s third and most popular suggestion is related to long sixes. According to him, if a batsman hits a six that is 100 meters or more long, he should get 8 runs instead of 6. Rohit Sharma has also given this idea earlier. Although this rule may be controversial, it will allow batsmen to take the risk of playing big shots.
