If you don’t cook good food… IPL player Shashank Singh along with IPS father beat up the cook! FIR registered
FIR Filed Against Shashank Singh: Cricketer Shashank Singh, who plays for the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Punjab Kings, is seen surrounded by controversies. His cook has accused him of forced work and assault. This also includes the name of his father, retired Special Director General (DG) of Police Shailesh Singh. Bhopal Police has registered the case and is investigating.
On June 29, an FIR was registered in this case in Ratibar, Bhopal. In which the cook accused him of beating, abusing and forcefully snatching the mobile for not cooking good food. Shailesh Singh, Shashank Singh and their driver (identified as Mishra) have been named accused in the FIR. A case has been registered under sections 296(B), 115(2) and 3(5) of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS) and investigation has been initiated.
Had promised to get a government job
Complainant Vipendra Singh Tomar, resident of Rewa district, had started working as a cook in the family bungalow in Neelbad on June 25. Vipendra alleges that he was promised a monthly salary of Rs 15,000 along with food and accommodation facilities. Also, a promise was made to help in getting a government job.

The victim said in his written complaint, after getting assurance of salary, food and accommodation facilities, I agreed to work there and started living at his house. Tomar alleged that he was later told that there were shortcomings in his work and his mobile phone was snatched away. He told the police, after preparing breakfast on June 28, I asked Shailesh Singh for my mobile phone back, but he refused. Troubled by this, he locked himself in his room.
Allegation of bribery and assault in the room
Vipendra Singh alleged that Shailesh Singh, Shashank Singh and their drivers came to his room, abused him and started beating him with their hands and fists. After beating me, they forcefully threw me out of the house.

The complainant also alleged that he transferred Rs 1,000 from her mobile phone, saying it was for food and accommodation expenses. Tomar said in his statement, after the incident, I came to the police station with my relatives to lodge a complaint and demand legal action. Bhopal Police is currently investigating the matter.
