IPL: RCB defeated Punjab to enter the final, today match between Gujarat and Mumbai Gujarati

Mumbai: In IPL cricket, Royal Challengers Bangalore entered the finals by defeating Punjab Kings by 8 wickets. Batting first in the match played in Chandigarh last night, Punjab Kings scored 101 runs. In reply, Bangalore team achieved the victory target by losing two wickets in just 10 overs.

The Punjab Kings team, which came to bat first, had a bad start and lost 5 wickets in just 50 runs. Captain Shreyas Iyer also could not score any special runs and was out after scoring only 2 runs. Stoinis scored the maximum 26 runs for Punjab Kings. Thus, Punjab Kings were all out in just 101 runs. Hazlewood and Suyyash Sharma took maximum 3-3 wickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore team. Also Yash Dayale took 2 wickets, Bhuvneshwar Kumar 1 and Shepherd took 1 wicket.

Chasing the target of 102 runs, the RCB team won the match by scoring 106 runs after losing 2 wickets in just 10 overs. Phil Solte played an unbeaten winning inning of 56 runs. Virat Kohli scored 12 runs, Mayank Agarwale scored 19 runs and Rajat Patidar scored 15 runs.

Now all eyes are on the match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians to be held in Chandigarh this evening. The winner of this match will face Punjab Kings in the second qualifier match on June 1.
