Chinnaswamy gets approval for IPL matches!
Actually, the Karnataka government has given conditional permission to IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to organize IPL matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium. According to the government’s conditions, if matches are held in the stadium, then Royal Challengers Bangalore will be completely responsible for all the activities happening inside and outside the stadium. This means that RCB will be held directly responsible for any kind of accident, disorder or incident during or related to the match.
Why is RCB shying away from domestic matches?
It is noteworthy that after the earlier stampede incident at Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB seems to be cautious about this strict condition of the Karnataka government. After that accident, the team also had to face anger and criticism from the fans. In such a situation, if any unpleasant incident happens in the future, RCB does not want to take the risk of taking full responsibility for it, which is why the franchise wants to take a very thoughtful decision on this issue.
May soon get permission without any conditions
Let us tell you, Karnataka State Cricket Association President Venkatesh Prasad has expressed hope that RCB may soon get permission to play at Chinnaswamy Stadium without any conditions. He said that the fans have always given a lot of support and love to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), so now it is the responsibility of the franchise to stand strongly with its city and supporters.
There was a stampede during the victory celebration

After winning the title, the team decided to celebrate at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, but during this a huge crowd of fans gathered outside the stadium and the situation went out of control. Many people lost their lives in this stampede, after which serious questions were raised regarding the security arrangements and organization of the event.
