Business Desk – IPO Listing Details: Om Power Transmission had a strong listing in the stock market on 17th April. Its shares were listed on BSE at Rs 181.10, which was a premium of about 3.5 percent. Listed on NSE at 186, which shows a premium of 6 percent. Soon after the listing, the stock jumped 5 per cent to its upper circuit limit of 190.15 on BSE. The last issue price under IPO was Rs 175.

The company’s IPO of Rs 150.06 crore was subscribed 3.33 times in total. The portion reserved for qualified institutional buyers was subscribed 3.65 times, the portion for non-institutional investors 7.06 times and the portion for retail investors 1.54 times. 76 lakh new shares worth Rs 132.56 crore were issued in the IPO. Also, Offer for Sale (OFS) of 10 lakh shares worth Rs 17.50 crore was also included.

Om Power Transmission is a power transmission infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company. It specializes in completing high-voltage and extra-high-voltage transmission lines, substations and underground cabling projects.

These projects are completed on a turnkey basis, which includes design, engineering, supply, erection, installation, testing, commissioning, and operations and maintenance (O&M) services. The promoters of Om Power Transmission are Kalpesh Dhanjibhai Patel, Kanubhai Patel and Vasantkumar Narayanbhai Patel.

How will the money received from IPO be used?

The Company intends to use the proceeds from the issuance of new shares in its public offering to purchase machinery and equipment, repay part or all of debt, meet long-term working capital needs, and for general corporate purposes.

The total income of Om Power Transmission during April-December 2025 was Rs 276.50 crore. Net profit was Rs 23.37 crore. Meanwhile, the company had a debt of Rs 38.47 crore. For fiscal year 2025, the company reported revenue of Rs 281.65 crore and net profit of Rs 22 crore.
