IPS Transfer: 4 IPS officers transferred in the state, SPs of many districts changed, see list

Preparations for assembly elections are going on in West Bengal. Meanwhile, administrative reshuffle (IPS Transfer) has been seen once again. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s government has transferred four Indian Police Service officers. Officers have been instructed to assume new charge with immediate effect. SPs of many districts have also been changed.

IPS officer Umesh Ganpat has been transferred and given the charge of Intelligence Branch (IB) North Bengal Superintendent of Police. Before this he was holding the responsibility of the post of SP of Alipurduar district.

New SPs were appointed in these districts

Arish Bilal, who was holding the post of Intelligence Branch SP, has now been given the responsibility of the post of Superintendent of Police of Basirhat district. Dr. Hussain Mehedi Rehman, working on the post of SP of Basirhat, has been transferred and appointed to the post of Jangipur Police District, Murshidabad. Shav Kumar Amit, working on this post, has been given the responsibility of the post of Superintendent of Police of Alipurduar district (North Bengal).

Six IPS officers were transferred a few days ago.

Just a few days ago, 6 IPS officers were given new assignments. Rajeev Mishra was given the responsibility of the post of ADG and IGP of South Bengal. Lakshmi Narayan was made ADG and IGP of CID. Whereas IPS officer Mukesh was given the responsibility of the post of IB IGP. Amarnath K. Was made the new SP of Jalpaiguri. The responsibility of the post of Krishna Nagar PD SP was handed over to VV Raghuvasmi. Syed Waqar Raza was made DIG of Murshidabad range.
