Iqbal Khan new show: When life suddenly snatches away your identity, what remains are memories or courage? With this emotional question in mind, Sony SAB is bringing its new show “Hui Gum Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyan”, which will premiere on Monday, 6th April at 8 pm. The series, adapted from the globally acclaimed Italian drama DOC – Nelle tue mani, brings to Indian audiences a heart-warming story of courage, reinvention and the power of a second chance at life.

At the center of the story is Dr. Dev Mehta, played by Iqbal Khan. Dev is a highly promising doctor whose life changes completely after an accident. In this accident his memories of eight years are erased. Deprived of his past and the life he has built, Dev now has to navigate unknown paths and face a personality that even he himself cannot remember. What follows begins a deep and emotional journey, where Dev rebuilds his career, tries to mend broken relationships and embraces more humanity while being a doctor. This journey gives him the strength to look at both life and treatment from a new perspective.

Dev’s new story between Srishti and Vani
Gulki Joshi is playing the character of Srishti – Dev’s ex-wife. Srishti is a strong and intelligent doctor who left her medical career behind to raise her children and now manages the hospital. Dev and Srishti’s broken relationship is further tested when after Dev loses his memory, she sees a version of him that she thought was lost forever. Adding another layer of emotions to the story is Srishti Singh, who plays the character of Vani – an ambitious resident doctor who once idolized Dev. In this new chapter, Vaani becomes Dev’s closest companion. The changing relationship between Dev and Vani gives a new direction to both their lives.
