Iran fires 186 missiles and 812 drones: UAE Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that Iran has so far fired 186 missiles and 812 drones on the country. The ministry claimed that most of the attacks were foiled by the air defense system. Defense spokesman Brigadier General Abdul Nasser Mohammed al-Humaidi said that out of 186 missiles, 172 were intercepted and destroyed, while 13 missiles fell into the sea. A missile landed within UAE territory.
Additionally, 812 Iranian drones were monitored, of which 755 were intercepted and shot down. The Defense Ministry said that the air defense system is fully alert and every necessary step is being taken to ensure the security of the country. The air defense also detected 812 Iranian drones flown towards the UAE, of which 57 fell within the country’s territory. The air defense also detected and destroyed eight cruise missiles.

A total of three people have been killed in the UAE since the fighting began, the spokesman said. There have been 68 cases of minor injuries and minor to moderate damage to people living in residential areas. The attack on the US Embassy in Riyadh on Tuesday also made headlines, where a drone strike set a portion of the building on fire. After this, Saudi Arabia Kingdom issued a statement strongly condemning it. He termed it a cowardly act and a flagrant violation of international rules.

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry shared a statement on Twitter, writing that it condemned in the strongest terms Iran’s attack targeting the building. It further reads that the country considers this a cowardly attack, which is a flagrant violation of all international rules and laws, including the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.
According to Saudi, it has told Tehran that it will not allow its airspace or territory to be used to attack Iran. Despite this, such attacks are being carried out. This will further increase tension in the area.
