After downing the F-35 jet, the pilot ejected and landed on Iranian soil. Since then, different claims are being made regarding the condition of the pilot. Some reports say the pilot has been captured by Iranian forces, while other reports say the pilot has little chance of survival in the massive explosion that occurred as the jet fell. Iran’s state media Press TV and IRIB also said there was a huge explosion when the jet collided, reducing the pilot’s chances of survival.
