It is believed that after this step from Iran, tension may increase in the area. It is noteworthy that after 111 days of war, a 14-point agreement has been reached between Iran and America to end the war. This has been named the Islamabad Agreement. Israel is not included in this agreement and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has made it clear that Iran’s army will not withdraw from Lebanon. In such a situation, Iran’s decision to close Hormuz once again may increase regional tension.
