Iran crippled Israel, blowing up the factory that produced IDF spies.
Desk: Iran has once again launched a precision ballistic missile attack on Israel’s high-tech defense hub. This time, the target was the drone factory of the Israeli company Aerosol, located in the city of Petah Tikva. According to Iranian media and several international reports, the missile directly hit the factory and caused significant damage. Aerosol is a leading Israeli aerospace company that develops UAV (drone) platforms, components, and complete technology for defense forces and government use. The company primarily manufactures composite materials, mini UAV systems, and high-end aeronautical parts.
These drones are primarily used for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. Their exceptionally low noise and stealth capabilities make them highly effective for long-range reconnaissance operations deep in enemy territory. The Israeli military has yet to officially confirm the incident, but reports of damage are emerging from company sources and satellite imagery. This attack is particularly concerning for Israel because companies like AeroSol supply drones not only to the IDF but also to the US and other allied countries.
What damage will this attack cause to Israel?
- Manufacturing of drone platforms and parts at the factory will be halted. Israel is already conducting a sustained drone campaign against Iran, and the production of new drones will be delayed.
- AeroSol’s drones are the eyes and ears of the IDF. They play a vital role in monitoring Iran, tracking missile targets, and launching precision strikes. The loss of the factory will force Israel to rely on old stock or import it quickly from abroad.
- On the 35th day of the war, Iran has directly targeted Israel’s defense industry. Previous attacks on Petah Tikva had damaged buildings, but this time the drone factory was clearly targeted.
