The Embassy of Iran has heartily thanked the Indian Government and its people. This gratitude has been expressed for attending the funeral of late Iranian leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Iran has said that it will always remember this cooperation.

The Embassy of Iran has shared a post on social media platform X. It said that the people of Iran will never forget the way the Indian government and its citizens participated in the funeral of Ayatollah Khamenei.
The Embassy has especially thanked the official delegation that was present on this occasion on behalf of the Government of India and its people. This delegation had paid its tribute to the late leader.
