Iran's Foreign Minister reaches Pakistan amid Israel war, these issues including West Asia will be special

Islamabad: Amidst the Israeli war, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reached Pakistan today. He has come here to discuss many issues including the ongoing tension in West Asia and bilateral relations. The Iranian Foreign Minister is on a two-day official visit to the capital Islamabad.

The plane of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reached Islamabad after midnight. Here the officials of Pakistan welcomed him. He will meet Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and other officials of the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

This visit of Iran's Foreign Minister is taking place at a time when the standoff between it and Israel is increasing. Iranian officials are threatening another attack against Israel after the attack on it on October 26. Israel targeted military targets and other locations in the October 26 attack, which killed at least five people.

America had protested

Iran has tried for years to advance a multibillion-dollar gas pipeline project launched in 2013 to supply Iranian natural gas to energy-starved Pakistan. This project has been stalled since 2014. America opposed this project. The US said that there is a violation of sanctions imposed on Tehran due to its nuclear program.
