India’s first reaction on two weeks ceasefire, Foreign Ministry welcomed the decision
isreal-iran war: Amidst the ongoing tension over Iran, a two-week ceasefire has been announced between America, Israel and Iran. This step is being considered an important initiative towards a diplomatic solution. The Indian government has also welcomed this ceasefire. The Foreign Ministry said in its statement that this step is a positive sign towards establishing peace in West Asia. The ministry stressed that dialogue and diplomacy are the only way to end the current conflict.

India also said that the conflict has caused huge losses to civilians and affected global energy supplies as well as trade networks. In particular, concerns have been raised regarding the Strait of Hormuz, which is one of the most important oil routes in the world. India has expressed hope that global trade and energy supply will continue uninterrupted from here.
Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Tehran has issued a new advisory for Indian citizens living there. In view of the current situation, the Embassy has advised all Indians to leave Iran immediately. The embassy has also clarified that citizens should not move towards any international border without official advice. For safe evacuation, it has been said that it is necessary to stay in touch with the embassy and follow their instructions.
In the advisory issued earlier, Indians were advised to remain alert and stay in safe places, but in view of the situation, now they have been advised to leave the country as a precautionary measure.
