Is something big going to happen? This Muslim country wreaked havoc in Israel; There was a stir in the Middle East
Israel Iran War: Fighting in the Middle East escalated once again when Iran fired missiles at Israel. This is the first time since the ceasefire was implemented on April 8 that tension has increased. When the missiles fell on the ground, many bright rays of light were seen in the night sky. Sirens started sounding in many parts of Israel, due to which millions of people went to shelters. The Israeli military said it intercepted the missiles, although several explosions were heard in the north of the country. Within an hour the military told people that they could leave safe areas.
In retaliation, the Israeli Air Force attacked Iranian government military targets in western and central Iran, this operation took place under the guidance of military intelligence. Israeli military spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Defrin had earlier said, “Iran has made a huge mistake.” The military’s chief of staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, said that “as soon as he receives the order, he will attack the enemy with determination”. Iran’s state broadcaster confirmed the missile launch, while officials closed western airspace in anticipation of a possible Israeli response. The attack came after Tehran warned of retaliation after Israel attacked areas south of Beirut earlier in the day.
“If these attacks are repeated, the scope of the response will be large and will include all American and Zionist targets in the entire region,” Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said, referring to the attacks on ships off the coast of Lebanon and Iran and around the Strait of Hormuz. Israel said that before the Iranian missile was launched, Iran-backed Hezbollah had fired towards northern Israel. The country has also warned that any attack on Beirut could rekindle a large-scale war across the Middle East.
Trump appealed for restraint
At the same time, US President Donald Trump tried to prevent further tension. Israel’s public broadcaster, Kan, said Trump did not believe Israel needed to respond further. The US President also told the Financial Times, “I take all the decisions. He (Netanyahu) does not take the decisions.”
‘No sanctions relief, asset unfreezing or talks in Lebanon’: Donald Trump sets conditions for Iran deal. A senior US official said that after the missile attack, Trump spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and appealed to him not to retaliate immediately. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Trump believes he has convinced Netanyahu to wait. The official said Trump “detained Bibi for some time.”
