Iran Police convoy attack: Police convoy attacked in Iran's Sistan province, 10 officers killed
Iran Police convoy attack : At least 10 police officers were killed in an attack on a police convoy in Iran's restive south-eastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan on Saturday. According to reports, the attack took place in Gohar Kuh, located about 1,200 kilometers south-east of Iran's capital Tehran.

The attack was reportedly carried out by 'unruly elements' but shortly afterwards, Iranian state media reported that 10 officers had been killed. Halwash, a group working for the Baloch people living in Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan, shared a photo and video of a truck wearing the green stripes used by Iranian police vehicles.
The attack targeted two vehicles of security forces and all the people traveling in them were killed. The truck was damaged only by bullets and not by the use of any explosives.
