Saudi Iran Diplomatic Expulsion: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry made an important announcement on Saturday, saying that Saudi Arabia has expelled several Iranian diplomatic staff from the country and warning of further stringent measures. The ministry has taken this step after accusing Iran of continuously attacking regional countries, especially the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries and other Arab and Islamic countries.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the attacks, calling them a ‘blatant example of Iranian aggression’ told. The ministry said that the repeated targeting of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, civilian infrastructure, economic interests and diplomatic missions is a violation of international law, UN Security Council resolutions and the principles of being a ‘good neighbor’.

Iran attacks against Beijing declaration?

What is Beijing Declaration?

Fear of increasing tension due to Iran’s aggression

The ministry warned that if Iran’s aggression continues, it could further escalate regional tensions, which could have a serious impact on bilateral relations in the future. Saudi Arabia also cited its previous warning, which was issued on March 9, 2026. The ministry confirmed that the Iranian military attache, assistant attache and three other embassy staff were declared ‘persona non grata’ After declaring, orders have been given to leave the country within 24 hours.

This development came after the joint strikes carried out by the US and Israel on Iranian targets on February 28, which resulted in huge loss of life and property.
