Iran standing with India amid Hormuz crisis, giving safe passage to ships

Iran crisis: Consul General of Iran in Mumbai, Saeed Reza Mosayeb Motlagh has said that despite the current war-like situation, Indian ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz are being given safe passage. He described it as an example of the old friendship between India and Iran.

Emphasis on India-Iran friendship

Motlagh said that Iran has always been a reliable partner of India. He said reports of gas shortage in India worried Tehran, following which it was ensured that Indian ships could reach their destinations without any danger. According to him, the situation is very sensitive and even a small mistake can create a big crisis, but despite this, Iran fulfilled the responsibility of providing safe passage.

Iran crisis: LPG tankers reaching India

In this series, this week the Indian flagged LPG tanker ‘Nanda Devi’ reached Vadinar Port in Gujarat, whereas before this ‘Shivalik’ had reached Mundra Port. Both ships came through the Strait of Hormuz, where sea routes remain risky these days due to tensions between Iran, America and Israel.

Accused of attack on Israel

Motlagh alleged that Israel started the conflict by targeting Iran’s oil facilities. He said that on February 28, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several top military officers were targeted, after which Iran responded with drone and missile attacks.

Iran crisis: “We never attacked first”

The Iranian envoy said that his country has always been a supporter of peace and has never attacked before. According to him, Iran only retaliated and protected its bases and allies.

‘The system runs the country, not the individual’

He described the death of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, as a big loss, but said that it did not affect the country’s order. He stressed that governance in Iran is not based on a single individual but on a strong system, which is why the country continues to function smoothly despite changes in leadership.

America also targeted

Iran crisis: Motlagh also targeted America, saying that it tries to show its army invincible to the world, but the reality is different. He claimed that Iran had damaged several enemy ships in the recent conflict and was using modern technology. Of Answered on my own.
