Missile attack on US embassy in Baghdad, plume of smoke visible in the sky; More dreadful war in the third week

Iran Strikes US Embassy Baghdad: The ongoing war between America, Israel and Iran in the Middle East has now taken an even more destructive form. As the war entered the third week, Iran has launched a major attack targeting the US embassy located in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, as a counter-strategy.

According to reports, on Saturday, March 14, an attack was carried out in Baghdad’s ‘Green Zone’ The missile fell on a helipad inside the US Embassy compound in Washington, D.C. Immediately after the attack, a huge plume of smoke was seen rising over the embassy complex. Iran is continuously targeting US military bases and diplomatic complexes located in Gulf countries, due to which tension in the region has reached its peak.

Drone wreaks havoc on Fujairah Port

Meanwhile, an incident of fire has come to light in an important oil installation near Fujairah port of United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to officials, the fire was caused by debris from a downed drone falling on an oil installation. Fujairah is one of the world’s major oil export centers and any kind of military activity here is considered a major threat to the global energy market.

Devastation on Kharg Island and Trump’s warning

This action of Iran comes after US President Donald Trump claimed that the US Army has completely destroyed the military bases on Kharg Island, which is most important for Iran’s oil network. Trump has given a stern warning that if Iran interferes with the passage of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, then America can destroy Iran’s entire oil network.

America’s growing military presence and humanitarian crisis

In response, America has increased its military mobilization in the region. About 2,500 additional Marines and the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli are being sent to the Middle East. On the other hand, the humanitarian crisis is deepening in Lebanon, where so far 800 people have been killed in Israeli attacks and more than 8.5 lakh people have been displaced.
