Why Iran Attack On UAE: The ongoing war between America and Israel against Iran in West Asia has now taken a new and dangerous turn. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is facing the maximum losses and attacks in this conflict. Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz since the beginning of the war on February 28, deepening the global energy crisis. Iran is continuously targeting the Gulf countries, but UAE has emerged as the main center of its anger.

Attack on Fujairah port and impact on oil exports

In recent developments, Iran has targeted the strategically important Fujairah port of UAE. The port is located in the Gulf of Oman outside Hormuz and is home to the UAE’s famous ‘Murban’ Crude oil is exported. A plume of black smoke was seen in Fujairah city after Iranian drone attacks. According to local officials, a massive fire broke out in the port area due to falling drone debris. This attack is a direct attack on the oil export sector, considered the backbone of the UAE’s economy.

Iran’s serious allegations and UAE’s clarification

Tehran has accused the UAE of allowing the US to use its military bases for the attack on Kharg Island. According to Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, HIMARS rocket systems deployed near Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai were used in the attacks on Kharg and Musa Island.

At the same time, UAE has completely rejected these allegations. Anwar Gargash, advisor to the UAE President, clarified that the Emirates will not allow its territory to be used to attack any country. He warned that although the UAE is committed to diplomacy and dialogue, it will fully exercise its right to self-defense to protect itself.

More than 2000 attacks and security challenges

According to data from the UAE Defense Ministry, since the start of the war, they have been attacked with more than 2000 missiles and drones. However, the UAE’s modern defense system has been successful in thwarting almost 90 percent of the attacks in the air. In the last 24 hours alone, the Emirates has intercepted 9 ballistic missiles and 33 drones.
