This conversation has come to light quoting American, Israeli and regional sources, who are aware of the peace talks.

However, according to sources, the chances of such an agreement (Iran-US Ceasefire) in the next 48 hours are low, but it is being said that this effort may be the only chance to prevent a further dramatic escalation in the war.

Trump’s threat and counterattack to Iran

Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump has threatened to attack Iranian power plants and bridges if Iran does not agree to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz by 8 pm on Tuesday (US Eastern Time).

Iran has given a strong response to this threat. The Iranian military has warned that if its civilian targets are attacked, Iran will take a “much more devastating” Retaliatory action will be taken. Khatam al-Anbiya military command spokesman said, “If attacks on civilian targets are repeated, the next phase of our offensive and counter-measures will be much more destructive and comprehensive.”
