This decision has been taken after the major success reported by Trump in talks between Iran and many important countries of the region.
On his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, Trump said that negotiations with Iran have reached the highest levels of the Iranian leadership and have also received the necessary approvals.
According to Trump, the progress made in these talks prompted him to halt the planned bombing campaign against Iran.

In his statement, Trump said that as President of the United States, he decided to cancel the military operation scheduled for the evening because there was now a real possibility of reaching a diplomatic agreement.
He further claimed that all the major parties have approved the negotiation framework and they are working towards finalizing the agreement.

The announcement is a major change from Trump’s earlier stance.
Earlier, he had announced that America is ready to launch a massive attack on Iran. He claimed that Iran’s navy, air force, radar systems, anti-aircraft systems, defense network and most of its offensive capabilities had already been neutralized.
