Iran-US War: Iran attacks Australian military base in UAE, creates panic at Al Minhad base

Iran-US War: The war continues between America and Iran. Amidst the war, attacks from both sides continue. Several loud explosions were reportedly heard in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Wednesday morning as Iran continued its retaliatory attacks on the Gulf nation. Amid the attacks, Australian PM Anthony Albanese said that at around 9:15 am (AEDT) on Wednesday morning, an ‘Iranian Projectile’ landed on the road just outside the air base. According to the report of ABC News, after this explosion a massive fire broke out there. Due to this fire, there has been minor damage to the living quarters and clinic of Australian soldiers. The PM made it clear that at present more than 100 Australian soldiers present there are completely safe. Although there was no loss of life or property in the attack, there was material damage inside the complex. According to the report, the attack caused “minor damage to an accommodation block and medical facility located on the Australian side of the base.

Why is Al Minhad Air Base on target?
This air base is very special for Australia because from here their army handles the work of logistics, surveillance and training. The special thing is that not only Australia, but also soldiers of Britain and America are deployed here. This is the second attack on this base since the war started. Even before this, an Iranian drone had fallen here, but there was no damage then.
