According to sources, the proposed agreement has been prepared in the form of a memorandum consisting of one page and 14 points. Its objective is to end the war and begin formal negotiations for a comprehensive settlement. Under this proposal, Iran can temporarily stop nuclear enrichment, while the US can consider giving relief in sanctions and releasing billions of dollars of Iran’s frozen funds. There is also a possibility of reducing the restrictions imposed in the Strait of Hormuz between the two countries.

Trump said when will the operation end

Donald Trump, posting on Truth Social, said that if Iran accepts the deal on the proposed terms, the already famous Epic Fury Operation will be ended. He said that after this the Strait of Hormuz will be opened for everyone. Trump warned that if Tehran does not accept this resolution, the bombing will begin, and unfortunately, it will be at a much higher level and intensity than before.

Tension still persists on the Strait of Hormuz

The Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important oil routes, is currently stuck between the blockade of America and Iran. Trump on Wednesday stopped his new mission Project Freedom, after the implementation of which tension had increased in the Hormuz area. Meanwhile, Emmanuel Macron has demanded immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz. He informed on social media platform Macron also expressed concern about alleged attacks on UAE civilian infrastructure and commercial ships.

Iran looking for China’s support

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Wednesday. In this meeting held in Beijing, China assured Iran of continuing support during the talks. Iran said that it wants a peaceful solution to the current tension and is in favor of a fair agreement with the US, but will not compromise its sovereignty.

A major objective of this visit is also considered to be to strengthen the relations between China and Iran, especially at a time when there is intense talk of a possible meeting between Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Iran has also sought assurance from China to continue diplomatic and economic support.
