Iranian army ridiculed Trump’s claims, said- ‘You are talking among yourselves, not with us’

Tehran, March 25. The Iranian military has ridiculed US President Donald Trump’s claims of postponing attacks on Iranian energy infrastructure for five days amid top-level talks with Iran.

In a video posted by Fars News, the spokesman for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia headquarters took a jibe at the US, saying that the situation has now reached a point where the Americans are talking to themselves.

‘Don’t call your strategic defeat a compromise’

The Iranian military spokesperson said, “The strategic strength you used to boast about earlier has now turned into a strategic defeat… Do not call your defeat a ‘compromise’. The era of your promises is now over. There are two fronts in the world today: truth and falsehood. No freedom-loving and truth-seeking person will be misled by your media waves. The level of your internal conflicts has now reached such an extent that you are talking to yourself.” Your investments in the region will no longer matter, nor will you ever see the old prices of energy and oil again, unless you understand that stability in the region can only be guaranteed in the powerful hands of our armed forces.”

Iranian forces will never make any agreement with America-Israel

The spokesperson further stressed that Iranian forces will never enter into any agreement with US-Israeli forces. He said, ‘Stability is possible only through power. We clearly declare: Unless we wish, no situation will return to its previous form. This wish will be fulfilled only when the thought of any kind of action against the Iranian nation is completely erased from your dirty minds. From day one, our first and last word has been, is, and will always be this: No one like us will ever compromise with people like you. Not now, nor ever.’

Trump had made this claim

It is noteworthy that US President Trump had earlier confirmed that talks were going on with Iran, and claimed that the war was about to end. Trump had said, ‘Our talks are going on right now. I can tell you that they want to compromise and who wouldn’t want to if you were them? Look, their navy is destroyed, their air force is destroyed, their means of communication are destroyed. Almost everything they had is gone. I think we’re about to finish it. I can’t tell you for sure. We have won this…literally our planes are flying over Tehran and other parts of their country. They can’t do anything about it. For example, if I want to demolish that power plant, they can’t do anything about it… They are completely defeated… Militarily, they are finished.’

However, there has been no formal response from Iran on the latest initiative taken by Trump. The Iranians on Tuesday denied reports of any talks with the US, claiming that peace would be established only when the US and Israel stop their operations. Peace in the Middle East still remains a distant dream as Iran’s military continues its aggressive stance by launching its 80th wave of retaliatory strikes.
