Iran’s attack on Kuwait has increased tension in the entire region. 16 and 17 July 2026 Iran launched a missile and drone attack on Kuwait’s soil, which Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry described as a serious violation of international law and sovereignty. Iran took responsibility for the attack
from iran Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Has taken responsibility for these attacks. They claim that they have targeted the American base in Kuwait. The IRGC alleges that this is a response to the US action against their civilian targets. They claim that they have targeted radar, weapon depot and launcher. The Kuwait government has held Iran fully responsible for this attack and said that it has the right to take every necessary step for the security of its country, citizens and expatriates. At present, neighboring countries like Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan and Oman have also reported attacks from Iran.
