Iran’s sharp attack on US military action, accused of violation of the agreement; Strong comment against Trump

Tehran. After the US military action, Iran has accused America of violating the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two countries. The Iranian Foreign Ministry says that Washington did not comply with its obligations and harmed the spirit of the agreement by taking unilateral steps. At the same time, the Iranian leadership has also reacted strongly to the recent statements of President Donald Trump.

The agreement was based on ‘word for word’

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai said the agreement between Tehran and Washington was not based on mutual trust, but on clear commitments from both sides. According to him, from the very beginning this arrangement was built on the principle of “word for word”, because there were not enough signals of goodwill from the US side.

Baghai alleged that the US did not respect the terms of the agreement and violated the agreement with its actions. He said that Iran will continue to take necessary steps to protect its sovereignty and national interests.

  • Expressed displeasure on social media also

Ismail Baghai, in a post on social media platform He said that America’s recent steps are contrary to its commitments.

The Iranian spokesperson also claimed that a key section of the agreement, including provisions related to the safe movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, had been affected by the US action.

    Iran’s counterattack on Trump’s statements

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Garibabadi also sharply criticized President Donald Trump’s recent statements. He said Trump’s comments show that the policy of pressure, sanctions and military threats has not succeeded in achieving its objectives.

Making a personal comment on Trump, Garibabadi said that his language and attitude are going to promote conflict. He alleged that despite the pressure policy adopted over the years, Iran has not backed down from its stance.

    Rhetoric increased after Trump’s statement

This reaction from Iranian officials comes at a time when Donald Trump recently said that he does not believe that conflict with Iran will resume, although he also indicated that the previously implemented ceasefire arrangement is no longer effective.

After the recent developments between America and Iran, the verbal conflict between the two countries has once again intensified. However, in the current situation, there has been no indication from either side of starting any new formal talks.
