IRCTC changed rules from November 1, advance booking can be done 60 days in advance

IRCTC has changed the rules regarding ticket booking. The new rule has come into effect for the people from November 1. Officials have informed that the rules for advance ticket booking have been changed from November 1. Now passengers will be able to book tickets in advance 60 days in advance. The first passengers can book tickets 120 days in advance. You can also book tickets online through IRCTC site.

It has been informed that the decision has been taken to avoid black marketing. Therefore, it has been decided by the government that those selling tickets in black will be cracked down on. Also, the ticket booking process will become easier for the passengers.
