Taking immediate action on the matter, a fine of Rs 10 lakh has been imposed on IRCTC. Further, orders have been issued imposing a penalty of Rs 50 lakh on the concerned service provider and canceling their contract. As a result, a total penalty of Rs.60 lakh has been imposed.
