There is a very wonderful and great relief news for crores of passengers of the country traveling by train. If you also book train tickets online through IRCTC website and are troubled by repeatedly entering wrong ‘Captcha Code’ or slow running of the website, then the government is now going to solve your problem forever. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav understood this problem during his interaction with the students and taking on-spot action announced that by July 15, 2026, the brand new and hi-tech website of IRCTC will be launched for the general public. When the Railway Minister immediately hung up the phone on the student’s complaint, the entire incident came to light during a program organized in Jaipur, where Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was directly communicating with the students and listening to their problems. Meanwhile, a student stood up and drew his attention towards the biggest weakness of the IRCTC website. The student told that at the time of ticket booking, there is a lot of difficulty in repeatedly filling the captcha on the site, due to which many times there is a delay in booking the Tatkal ticket and the confirmed ticket is not available. Decision taken on-stage without wasting time: On hearing this practical problem of the students, the Railway Minister presented a unique example of administrative promptness. Without even a moment’s delay, he dialed a senior railway official on the stage itself. He asked the officer in simple words – “Students demand that a new website of IRCTC should be made. Can we prepare it within the next 30 days?” As soon as the positive reply was received from the officer, the Railway Minister immediately assured the students that the new website will be available to the country by 15th of next month i.e. 15th July. What will be special in the new IRCTC website? This big step of the government will directly benefit every common citizen who books railway tickets online sitting at home. The new website is being completely upgraded to provide users with a better and smoother ticket booking experience. During the historic surge program in Rajasthan’s Railway Budget under the leadership of PM Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also shared some important figures regarding the ongoing development works of Railways in Rajasthan and better connectivity. He told that before 2014, the annual railway budget of Rajasthan used to be only around Rs 600 crore. But under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a historic increase has been made in this budget and today this budget has increased to Rs 10,228 crore, due to which the work of laying new lines and modernizing the stations is going on at a fast pace in the state.
