Is Bloodhounds Season 3 returning for season 3? Everything we know so far
Bloodhounds has not been renewed for a third season. The popular South Korean action series from Netflix, featuring Woo Do-hwan as Kim Geon-woo and Lee Sang-yi in the role of Hong Woo-jin, aired the second season on April 3, 2026, across its platforms worldwide, only yesterday. Season two begins three years after the conclusion of the first season. The protagonists, who are boxers by trade, find themselves at the mercy of a new enemy, Im Baek-jeong, played by Rain, in an underground boxing league that is closely tied to organized crime.
As of today (April 4, 2026), Netflix has not made an official announcement regarding the third season. Neither cast nor crew members have commented on whether or not it will be renewed; further, the number of viewers for the second season has not been fully assessed yet, making it much too early in the production cycle to determine its fate.
The ending of season two leaves the door wide open for a third season to be produced. Following a thrilling final fight, Baek-jeong survives the event when he agrees to collaborate with the National Intelligence Service (NIS) and become an informant against a major drug trafficking ring with links to Thailand, creating the illusion of his own death. While Geon-woo and Woo-jin both decide to return home, they will both continue to train because they anticipate there will still be threats to their lives. In doing so, the show’s creators have left your imagination to speculate on what could happen next; however, they have also expanded the reach of the current story by introducing many more international stakes than the previous seasons, therefore expanding the possibility of a third season.
