Is Maryam Nawaz Sharif the Queen of Lords? Controversy over Pakistani cricketer’s post; Had to explain

The Pakistan Super League has started but the lack of matches in this league and the controversies associated with it have been the talk of the town. It’s only been a day since the Pakistan Super League started, but it has already created a lot of controversies. First, it was decided to hold the league behind closed doors, followed by threats to key players like Steve Smith and David Warner. As soon as the match started, the color of the ball changed from white to pink and now a controversial post by a Pakistani player has come to light.

Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah has recently posted a post against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, which has caused quite a stir. Maryam is the daughter of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif. The first match of the 11th season of PSL was played between Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kingsmen. Maryam Nawaz Sharif was the VIP guest during the match which was held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. PCB posted a video of him on his X account.

Reposting the video, Naseem Shah wrote, ‘Why is she being treated like the Queen of Lords?’ Naseem Shah’s post against Maryam Nawaz Sharif went viral in no time, followed by a huge uproar. However, Naseem Shah later clarified that his X account had been hacked.

In another post, he wrote, “Naseem’s account was recently hacked, but now it has been successfully recovered.” This makes it clear that the previous comment was not his personal opinion.

Talking about the match, batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 199 runs on the back of Fakhar Zaman’s brilliant half-century. Fakhar scored an excellent knock of 53 runs with 10 fours. Chasing this score, Hyderabad Kingsmen were bowled out for 130 runs in 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman was awarded the man of the match award for his innings.
