As of March 2026, there is no confirmation on a release date for Mayfair Witches Season 3 (April 2026).
Season 3 was renewed on April 9, 2025and the series moved the location from New Orleans to Salem, Massachusetts. Thomas Schnauz will serve as a co-showrunner with Esta Spalding. Filming began in October/November 2025 in Vancouver and ended in February 2026. As of March 29, 2026, there is still no confirmed release date.
Several reliable sources (TV Insider, ScreenRant, and TVLine) suggest that Season 3 may air in 2026 on AMC/Amazon Prime, however, since there is a lot of visual effects in this horror series, and because the last two seasons premiered in January of their respective years: (Season 1 on January 2023 and Season 2 on January 2025), it seems more likely that Season 3 will premiere at some point later in 2026.
Some fans on forums like Reddit speculate that Season 3 may premiere in April; however, since the series is still in post-production, those claims have not been confirmed and appear to be mere wishful thinking. A full season’s post-production typically takes between 4 and 5 months from the end of filming to when it is released; therefore, having the Season 3 premiere in the Spring of 2026 seems very optimistic. AMC has also not released any trailerskey artwork, or specific dates yet.
The new season continues the story of Rowan Mayfair as played by Alexandra Daddario in AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe. There will also be several new cast members, including Omar Maskati and Michiel Huismanamong others. Fans should stay tuned to AMC for further announcements.
