Also on Tuesday, a suicide bomber blew up an explosives-laden vehicle at a security post in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. About 17 security personnel were killed in this attack, while many were injured. The attack took place in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban, had claimed responsibility for the attack.
