Why did X introduce paid system?
Now the facility to edit photos or create new photos from Grok will be available only to those users who have taken paid subscription of X. X says that paid users can be easily identified, which will make it possible to take action against wrongdoers. According to the company, this will curb the misuse of deepfakes and fake photos. However, some experts believe that just taking money will not completely solve the problem, rather it is necessary to make the technology more secure.
Indian government had taken a strict stance
