Is the threat of AI looming over superstars? A film worth Rs 3000 crore will be made in Rs 2000, claims Shekhar Kapur

There is a flood of AI and animated films in the Hindi cinema world these days. The film industry is moving towards new trends. AI is good and easy for any industry but it is also seen as a threat. It is believed that this will reduce employment opportunities. In such a situation, now makers are experimenting with AI in the film industry. At the same time, when India’s first animated film ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ was released, it defeated even the big guns in terms of earnings. In such a situation, Shekhar Kapur has now made a shocking claim regarding AI generated films.

Actually, Shekhar Kapur recently had a special conversation with Times Now. During this, he said that if AI becomes a creative star, it will not be safe if it is a heroine. If he is a hero, he will not fall ill, nor will he say that hey, I don’t come for shooting, increase my fees. He has called this the beginning of a new India.

Along with this, Shekhar Kapur told how his cook had written the script of Mr. India 2 using ChatGPT. The filmmaker said that all the big pictures are made on certainty. AI will provide it. Shekhar Kapur said that he will make a film worth Rs 3000 crore as a child and that too for just Rs 2000. Is the threat of AI looming over superstars?

In such a situation, the question now arising is whether the superstars are in danger of AI? Because Shekhar Kapur emphasized on the problems faced by heroes and heroines and said that they will not be sick and money making things. At the same time, the question is that when AI can make films without stars, then what is the future of actors? Because if we look at the animated film ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’, there was neither any star nor any big publicity, yet the film made a record by doing a business of Rs 300 crore in India. In such a situation, now it has to be seen what happens in the coming time.
