Is Trump the world guru? After India, America also ‘allowed’ other countries to buy Russian oil
A few days ago the ‘friend’ gave ‘permission’ to India. This time US President Donald Trump has given special permission for all countries of the world. On Thursday, the Trump administration said that all countries in the world can buy Russian oil for the next 30 days. However, the US has made it clear that Russian oil can be bought only from those ships that are stuck in the sea because of the war.
Enraged by the joint attack by Israel and America, Iran has decided to close the Strait of Hormuz, one of the busiest waterways in a major blow to world trade. They have made it clear that ships will be burned at Hormuz. As a result, informed sources believe that Russian oil tankers are stuck in at least 30 places around the world. A total of 12.5 million barrels of Russian oil are now in the sea. Only that oil can be bought by the US administration.
Is Trump sitting in Washington making decisions about the import and export of every country in the world? Or actually ‘giving in’ to Russia and being forced to allow other countries to buy Russian oil?
It should be noted that the strait of Hormuz is practically blocked, and the price of oil in the world market has increased by leaps and bounds. The price of a barrel of oil has reached over 100 dollars. In this situation, the energy crisis is increasing all over the world. US Revenue Secretary Scott Besant said that all countries are temporarily allowed to buy Russian oil in order to keep the supply of energy resources in the world market, and to keep the price of oil under control. For the time being, all countries can buy Russian oil in the sea for the next 30 days. America does not have to fall for it.
Incidentally, a week ago, India was also given a similar 30-day permission by the Trump administration. In fact, there are about 95 million barrels of Russian oil tankers around Indian waters due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. On the other hand, the shortage of petrol, diesel and gas is also looming in India. In this situation, Besant said, India is one of the most important partners of America. So for 30 days the Russians can buy oil on board. Russia would not benefit from this move in isolation. The US administration has given this permission to other countries after India. As a result, the question arises, is Trump sitting in Washington taking decisions regarding the import and export of every country in the world? Or actually ‘giving in’ to Russia and being forced to allow other countries to buy Russian oil?
