Pakistan Confession On Operation Sindoor Ceasefire: ‘Operation Sindoor’ Amidst the brouhaha over this, a big statement from Pakistani Deputy PM Ishaq Dar has come out. Amid claims of mediation by US President Donald Trump, Dar has clarified that Pakistan had not sought intervention from any third party.

Ishaq Dar’s clarification on claims of arbitration

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan had not requested anyone for mediation to stop the conflict. It is noteworthy that Donald Trump had many times claimed that due to his intervention a war-like situation between India and Pakistan was averted.

Dar said that when he asked US Secretary of State Marco Rubio about this, Rubio also admitted that India considers this issue completely bilateral and is against the role of any third party.

Confessed to loss in Operation Sindoor

Ishaq Dar had also admitted in his previous statements that ‘Operation Sindoor’ The Pakistani Army had to suffer heavy losses during this. Due to this loss, Pakistan had given priority to ceasefire instead of continuing the war.

According to Dar, the Indian attacks had created such a situation in the Pakistani camp that he himself had to take the peace initiative. He also revealed that India had never agreed to any third party arbitration, which is part of India’s declared foreign policy.

Marco Rubio’s phone call exposed

Dar on Saturday shared an interesting incident of how the ceasefire process started. He claimed that at around 8:17 in the morning he received a call from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who told that India was ready for ceasefire.

In response, Dar said that Pakistan never wanted war. However, Dar also clarified that Rubio had later told him that India rejected any role of a third party, saying it was only a mutual matter between the two countries.

Victory for India’s tough stance

One thing has become clear from this entire incident that India maintained its bilateral stance despite international pressure. Ishaq Dar’s statements have deflated Trump’s claims that he was calling himself a trouble-shooter.

Pakistan is now trying to show that it chose the path of peace with dignity, but from Dar’s words it is clear that the valor and diplomatic tenacity of the Indian Army forced Pakistan to retreat.
