UP Police-ATS Action on ISI Spy: A shocking case has come to light from Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) NavySaunika has been arrested on charges of sedition. The soldier’s name is Adarsh Kumar alias Lucky. Adarsh Kumar is accused of spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. But at the same time, a feeling of anger is being expressed across the country as the soldier who took the pledge to protect the country did such an act.
According to information received, the arrested accused Adarsh Kumar alias Lucky is a resident of Chit village in Kagarul area of Agra. He has been serving in the Indian Navy for the past seven years.Currently posted as a Lance Naik at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi, Kerala. Just last month, in February, he got married to a young woman from Mathura. After marriage, he went to Dubai for honeymoon. He had returned to his village two days ago with his wife after their honeymoon. But for the past few months, security agencies were keeping a close eye on his every move. As soon as he reached the village, the UP ATS arrested him and sent him to jail after producing him in court on 10 March 2026.

For some time, the investigative agencies were aware that someone from Agra was in contact with handlers in Pakistan and was leaking strategic information of the country. Adarsh Kumar’s name emerged as a suspect when the ATS laid a trap through electronic and physical surveillance.
Seven years of loyalty ended thus, paid in exchange for espionage
Regarding Adarsh’s family background, his father Balveer Singh works as a liquor contractor. He was the youngest of three sisters and the whole family was proud of him. When he joined the navy seven years ago, the village was happy, but today the same village is calling him a traitor.
According to ATS officials, accused Adarsh Kumar not only shared confidential documents but was cooperating with Pakistani networks. He was also found to be involved in several anti-national activities. Several electronic evidences have been seized from him. His anti-national activities are being proved through these evidences. He has been sent to judicial custody.

Suspicion of more involvement
After this arrest, the Uttar Pradesh ATS is now probing the entire network to which Adarsh was associated. How a soldier falls into the trap of an enemy agent has become a major concern for security agencies. An investigation is also underway to find out if other persons from the Navy or other departments are involved in this espionage case. The contacts and bank accounts of the accused are being scrutinized, information is being obtained regarding how much money he has received so far and how big a conspiracy he has hatched.
