Israel destroyed two Iranian fighter jets before takeoff, missile purchased from America destroyed

New Delhi: Israel Air Force (IAF) has carried out a major attack on the airport of Tabriz, the western city of Iran. In this attack, two old Iranian fighter planes were completely destroyed. These planes were standing ready to take off, but Israel destroyed them on the ground with a precise missile attack.

motive of attack

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement saying that this attack was carried out to weaken the capability of Iran’s Air Force. Israel claims that considerable damage has already been done to Iran’s air defense system.

IDF said, "We are continuously taking action against all structures related to Iran’s terrorist system so that no threat can arise against Israel." This attack is being said to be part of Israel’s self-defense policy.

What were the destroyed aircraft?

The planes destroyed in the attack were Iran’s very old F-4 and F-5 models. These fighter planes were purchased from America in the 1970s and 1980s. Iran now has very few of them left and they are considered weak in modern air warfare. Israel destroyed them before they could take off so that they could never be used against Israel.

Rising tensions and previous attacks

This attack is another example of increasing tension between Israel and Iran. In the last few days, Israel has carried out major attacks on many military bases, missile launch sites and air defense systems of Iran. Israel says that these actions are necessary for self-defense and are being taken to stop threats coming from Iran.

Iran has not yet given any official reaction to this new attack, but in response to earlier attacks, Iran has launched missile and drone attacks on Israeli and American targets. Experts believe that Israel is now working on a strategy to weaken Iran’s entire air power so that there is no major threat in the future.
