Israel–Hamas war: Al-Qassam Brigade claims to have killed Israeli soldiers in Gaza Strip

Israel–Hamas war : Giving a befitting reply to the Israeli attack on Gaza, Hamas's military wing Al-Qassam Brigades gave information about the incident. Hamas' military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, has killed and injured several Israeli soldiers in an attack in northern Gaza City. According to a press statement from the Al-Qassam Brigades, its members reportedly successfully targeted a group of 10 Israeli soldiers with an anti-personnel bomb, resulting in significant military casualties in the area. The statement also said the brigade saw a helicopter landing for evacuation, but did not provide further details about the incident.

The brigade claimed that they had targeted an Israeli armored personnel carrier with a Yasin 105 missile in the Tuwam area, north of Gaza City. There has been no comment from the Israeli Army regarding this attack.
According to reports, public Israeli radio reported that military forces in northern Gaza faced significant security challenges and helicopters were deployed to evacuate injured soldiers.

The al-Qassam Brigades also said they targeted military gatherings and operational centers east of the city of Rafah, as well as the Sderot area in southern Israel, using multiple short-range missiles with 114-mm caliber. Earlier on Monday, the Al-Qassam Brigades had announced its preparation for a long conflict against Israel in the Gaza Strip.

“We have decided to continue this long war against Israel,” al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Ubaida said in a video statement marking the first anniversary of Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel.
