After this, religious leader Ayatollah Alireza Arafi has been appointed as the new interim Supreme Leader of Iran.
Let us tell you that Ayatollah Alireza Arafi is considered a senior religious leader of Iran. He has been included as a jurist member in the Interim Leadership Council. This council will now take over the responsibilities of the Supreme Leader. Arafi will currently hold the responsibility of the country’s highest religious and political post. His job will be to keep the governance system stable during the transition period and to lead until the selection of a new permanent Supreme Leader.
