1. India has also given shelter to one of the three Iranian ships stranded in the Indian Ocean. Indians stranded in the Middle East are being evacuated through Armenia.

2. The safety of Indians stranded in the Gulf is our priority. There is a tense situation in many Gulf countries at present. We are keeping a close eye on West Asia.

3. We are committed to the safety of Indians. Necessary instructions have been given to all departments. Our ministry is in touch with the needy people.

4. We are trying to find a solution through dialogue and diplomacy. The government is keeping an eye on the situation. Students in Iran are getting help through the Embassy.

5. All the diplomats are working day and night. We are also busy in evacuating people by air route. We are active in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.

6. We are saddened by the deaths occurring in war. India is conscious of its energy needs. We are committed to the safety of all Indians.
