Israel carried out a major attack during the US-Iran meeting, bombed Lebanon, many people died.
Israel attacks Lebanon: Israel launched another attack in southern Lebanon on Saturday, killing three people. The attack was carried out on a residential building in Mefadoun town of Nabatieh region. This incident has come to light at a time when peace talks between America and Iran are about to begin in Islamabad.
Lebanon has emerged as an important issue in this entire incident. Iran says the recently announced two-week ceasefire also included Lebanon, while Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump claim the ceasefire was limited only to Iran and the US.
Peace talks between Israel and Lebanon on April 14
Iran had earlier refused to attend the Islamabad talks due to Israel’s continuous attacks. However, later when Israel expressed its desire to negotiate with Lebanon, Iran agreed to negotiate. Now direct talks between Israel and Lebanon are likely to begin from April 14.
According to Joseph Aoun, these talks will be aimed at ending the war and finding a permanent solution. Earlier, diplomats of both the countries had also contacted America, where America is playing the role of mediator.
1,900 people have died so far
The situation in Lebanon is continuously worsening. According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, nearly 1,900 people have died in the last 40 days since the conflict began on February 28. At the same time, it was also confirmed that more than 300 people were killed in the horrific attacks that took place in a single day.
Lebanon not part of ceasefire
Israel says that Hezbollah and Lebanon are not part of this ceasefire, so its military action will continue. On the other hand, Lebanon wants any talks to take place under a formal ceasefire, so that violence can be stopped.
