Israel says 1,473 hospitalized since launch of ‘Operation Roaring Lion’ against Iran
Israel’s Health Ministry said on Thursday that 1,473 people have been evacuated to hospitals since the country launched “Operation Roaring Lion” against Iranas the conflict between the two nations continues to escalate.
According to the ministry’s latest update released Thursday morning, 145 patients remain hospitalized across Israel.
Current medical condition of hospitalized patients
Among the patients still receiving treatment:
- 4 are in serious conditionwith about half of these cases not directly linked to rocket strikes
- 28 are in moderate condition
- 67 have sustained mild injuries
- 2 patients are currently undergoing medical evaluation
The majority of injuries have been reported as mild, according to health authorities.
Casualty toll in Israel
Earlier updates from Israeli authorities confirmed 11 deaths within Israel since the start of the military operation.
Emergency services and hospitals across the country have been handling casualties resulting from missile attacks, rocket strikes, and other incidents linked to the ongoing conflict.
Iran facing higher casualties
While Israel has reported casualties from retaliatory attacks, Iran is believed to have suffered significantly higher losses following Israeli and allied military strikes during the early stages of the operation.
