Israel-US Iran War: Trump ready to end war with Iran, gave 15-point ceasefire plan

Dubai: The administration led by US President Donald Trump has offered Iran a 15-point ceasefire plan. An officer aware of this development gave this information. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the ceasefire plan was handed over to Iran through Pakistan’s intermediaries. Pakistan has offered to mediate talks between the US and Iran.

This proposal has come at a time when the US Army is preparing to deploy at least 1,000 more soldiers from the 82nd ‘Airborne Division’ to strengthen the approximately 50,000 soldiers already present in the area. The ‘New York Times’ said in a news on Tuesday that the 15-point plan has been handed over to Iranian authorities.

The Pentagon, the headquarters of the US Defense Ministry, is also in the process of deploying two ‘Marine Expeditionary Units’ under which about 5,000 Marines and thousands of other Navy personnel will be deployed in the area. The official said Israeli officials, who have been advocating continued war against Iran, were surprised by the US administration’s submission of the ceasefire plan.

He also said that America is sending additional soldiers and marines to West Asia, in such a situation the proposal of ceasefire plan is being presented as a strategy of Trump that he wants to keep his options open regarding what steps to take in the future. The White House, the official residence and office of the US President, has not responded to requests for comment in this regard.
