Drone attack targeting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's residence

The Israeli government said that a drone attack was carried out on Saturday towards the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, although there were no casualties in the incident.

The Israeli government said that in view of the shelling from Lebanon, sirens sounded in Israel on Saturday morning and along with this, a drone attack was carried out towards the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Saysriya.

The Prime Minister's spokesperson said in a statement that neither Netanyahu nor his wife were present at the Prime Minister's residence when the attack was carried out. There has been no casualty in this incident.

This attack on Israel has been carried out at a time when the ongoing conflict between Lebanon's Hezbollah and Israel has intensified in recent weeks. Lebanon's extremist organization Hezbollah is supported by Iran.

Hezbollah said on Friday it planned to launch a new phase of fighting in Israel by attacking Israel with more guided missiles and explosive drones. In fact, Hezbollah's key leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an airstrike by Israel in late September, after which Israel sent its forces to Lebanon in early October.

On the other hand, Israel's war with Hamas in Gaza also continues. Israeli soldiers on Thursday killed top Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, after which there seems to be little chance of the war between the two stopping.

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Friday that Sinwar's death was a tragic loss. He also said that despite the killing of many Palestinian leaders before Sinwar, Hamas is continuing its campaign. He had said, “Hamas is alive and will remain alive.”
