Israeli Beirut Attack : Israel launched airstrikes on Beirut two days ago, targeting several areas of the Lebanese capital and spreading panic among residents. According to reports, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the attacks targeted Barbour, Hamra, Salim Salam and areas near the Kuwaiti embassy in Bir Hassan. Traffic jams occurred due to air strikes. Evacuation warnings were issued for people from Ras Naba, Zakaq Blot, Masayatbeh, Corniche al-Majra and Ras Beirut.

At least three people were killed and 10 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on Barbour in central Beirut on Tuesday evening, according to reports. The sudden attacks on central Beirut came amid growing speculation about a possible ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. On Tuesday, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz met with IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi to approve new plans for further attacks, according to the Defense Ministry.
