Israel-Hezbollah war ended, 60 days ceasefire approved, but how long will Israel-Hamas war continue…

Beirut: According to a big news coming amid the bloody war between Israel and Hezbollah, Israel's War Cabinet has now approved a ceasefire deal for 60 days between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. A cabinet meeting was held regarding this late last Tuesday night. That being said, it was approved 10-1. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has already approved the ceasefire plan.

Here, US President Joe Biden has called this ceasefire a very 'good news'. In this regard, he said that he had talked to Netanyahu and Lebanese PM Najib Zakati for ceasefire. In such a situation, today at 4 am on Wednesday (7:30 am on Wednesday according to Indian time), the war between the two countries has stopped. Along with this, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said, I hope that this agreement can end the violence and suffering felt by the people of both countries.

Biden said that this ceasefire will end the war forever. According to him, the Israeli army will soon hand over the occupied area to the Lebanese army and then withdraw from there so that Hezbollah does not take control there. This process will be completed within the next 60 days.

According to Biden, if Hezbollah or anyone else violates the agreement and poses a threat to Israel, then according to international law, Israel will have the full right to self-defense. At the same time, Netanyahu said that if Hezbollah violates the agreement then they will attack again.

Netanyahu clearly said that if Hezbollah violates the ceasefire agreement even slightly, we will attack. At the same time, if Hezbollah carries out terrorist activities near the border, we will also attack.

Let us inform that before this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had announced that he will send a proposal for a ceasefire with Hezbollah to his cabinet for approval, which will set the stage for an end to the fighting that has been going on for almost 14 months. In this regard, Netanyahu had said that voting on the proposal is expected to take place late on Tuesday evening.

However, it was not clear when the ceasefire would come into effect and the exact terms of the agreement were not given. The agreement will have no impact on Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza, which still shows no signs of ending. (with agency input)
